The Crown of the Snow Leopard is an ancient circle of standing stones atop a hill covered in white flowers in the Beyond. Each of the seven stones would, when touched, speak the name of one of the original member species of the First Phylum (a golden toad, a howler monkey, a wolverine, a mongoose, a king cobra, a lightmare, and a bloodhound).(Though, in the book, Galleon, a human, replaced the wolverine, Lothar). This was done in conjunction with the creation of the Spheris, which was made from the same ore used to construct the crown. Through these means, it would be possible to identify the animals needed to summon the Shifting Fortress.
