Shady licking Gilbert
Biography[]
Shady is a Shadow hound, illegally made and sold by cave shamans. Shady was released from his potion too early and will now remain as a small pup with the same abilities as a full-grown shadow hound (seeing in the dark, reaching out with cold tentacles that can ensnare you, etc).
Physical Appearance[]
Shady appears to have dark black skin and "cute" black eyes. He has a sleek body and two fluffy ears.
Personality and Traits[]
Unlike most Shadow hounds, Shady is an energetic and enthusiastic pup. He has a tendency to lick everyone in sight (particularly Gilbert, who he thinks is his "mother"). He is also very loyal to the three familiars, and will not hesitate to attack any who tries to harm them. Shady is terribly afraid of light, like his kind, and will hide when the sun appears, which is normal as Shadow hounds cannot bear any means of light.
Appearances[]
He is created in the Secrets of the Crown, and is hidden with Jack, Marianne, and Dalton in Kalstaff's cellar in Circle of Heroes. We don't know what happened to him later in the Palace of Dreams.
